MPB-1 Microbe Probiotic-5L Concentrate

Beneficial probiotic microbes that help plants access nutrient, enrich & detox, soils & compost.
Description

Beneficial Micro-organisms that enhance soil health and biology.

Our Microbe Probiotic use Effective Micro-organisms (EM) and EMs have a fascinating history. EM was discovered by a Japanese horticulturalist, Dr. Teruo Higa, some 25 years ago. The doctor had spent years researching various micro-organisms trying to find some combination of beneficial bacteria that would enhance the growth of plants without the need for harsh chemicals.EM is a natural, probiotic technology developed for over 25 years around the world. It is based on beneficial and effective micro - organisms ("EM"). The microbes are non-harmful, non-pathogenic, not-genetically-engineered or modified (non-GMO), and not-chemically-synthesized.

Based on research and development activities in many countries, EM is increasingly viewed as a means of providing solutions to many problems of food production, depletion of natural resources, environmental pollution, food safety and nutrition, and human and animal health. Originally developed for agriculture with the purpose of increasing crop yields, the micro - organisms are known to produce bioactive substances, vitamins, hormones, enzymes, amino acids, and antibiotics, which enrich and detoxify the soil. EM directly enhances plant growth which will produce higher yielding crops, which may improve drought, frost, pest and disease resistance. Current research indicates that EM cultures may suppress soil-borne pathogens, accelerate the decomposition of organic wastes, increase the availability of mineral nutrients and useful organic compounds to plants, enhance the activities of beneficial micro-organisms, such as mycorrhiza, nitrogen fixing bacteria, and reduce the need for chemical fertilisers and harsh chemicals. The basic groups of micro - organisms in EM are lactic acid bacteria (commonly found in yogurt, cheeses), yeast (bread, beer), and phototrophic bacteria ("cousins" of blue-green algae). All EM products are produced through natural fermentation processes. E.M.’s are facultative microbes which go from aerobic to anaerobic and back again. One of the most important concepts of EM is not the overall number of species of micro - organisms present but the interactive relationship between the different species.

BENEFITS

  • Helps promote the germination, growth, flowering, fruiting and ripening in crop plants. See Trial
  • May enhances the photosynthesis capacity of plants
  • Increases the fermentation of organic matter (OM) efficacy of OM as a fertiliser
  • May help support resistance of plants to pests and diseases (immunity)
  • Improves the physical, chemical and biological environment of the soil
  • May suppress soil borne pathogens and pests by way of improved plant & soil nutrition.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

To be used as part of a balanced nutrition program. It is best to apply microbes during cloud cover or at night when UV light intensity is low, and particularly when the soil is moist and warm. .
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE Min Dilution 1:100 ie 10mL per 1L of water.

Seed Treatment:-  Increased seed viability can be achieved by soaking seeds in a solution of microbes (1:100) before planting. Nursery and Container-grown plants: Inoculate with microbes at seeding and transplant stages, then on a monthly basis thereafter. Use the standard dilution of 1:100.

Plants & Fruit Trees:- Foliar spray until runoff. May be used as a root drench. Apply fortnightly or when deficiencies are suspected. Trial on sensitive plants first. Always spray in the cool of the day.

Lawns, Crops & Larger Areas:- Add 500 mL to a clean 2 Litre hose on applicator, top with water and apply evenly to lawns, plants & soil.

5-7 Litres per Hectare

Compost Addition:-

1L per m3 Dilute with water and distribute evenly throughout compost pile.

Note:- All recommendations are provided as general advice only.

Sizes: 1L, 5L, 20L, 200L, 1000L

SAFETY GUIDELINES
